Privacy and collection notice

Last updated 14 September 2026

Foundry Health Pty Ltd (Foundry Health, we, us) convenes The Network. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you express interest in joining, or make a client enquiry, through network.foundry.health, why we collect it and how we handle it. It is provided under the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

Who we are

Foundry Health Pty Ltd, Sydney, Australia. For anything in this notice, email network@foundry.health.

What we collect

When you express interest in joining The Network:

When you make a client enquiry: your name, organisation and email address, and what you tell us about your question.

When you visit the page: we use Plausible Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without storing your IP address or any identifier that could single you out. The Microsoft form you complete may set cookies of its own, described in Microsoft's privacy statement.

We do not ask for health information about you. If you volunteer sensitive information in a free-text field, we handle it under this notice and delete it where it is not needed.

How we collect it

Directly from you, through a Microsoft form. The page itself stores nothing you type. We do not scrape LinkedIn or any other site. Where you give us a link, we read what is publicly visible at that link to check what you have told us. CVs and profiles are read only by the people who verify members.

Why we collect it

No law requires you to give us this information. If you do not provide the details marked as required on the form, we cannot consider your expression of interest or respond to your enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Overseas disclosure

Our Microsoft 365 tenancy is hosted in Australia. Microsoft may process support and diagnostic data in other countries, including the United States, under its own safeguards. If you are outside Australia, we handle your information under this notice and any local law that applies to you, including the UK GDPR where it applies.

How long we keep it

We keep expressions of interest while The Network is forming and for as long as you remain a member. Client enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after 24 months. If you ask us to delete your profile, we do so within 30 days, except where we must keep a record for legal or accounting reasons, such as records of payments made to you.

Security

Your information is held in Microsoft 365 with access limited to the Foundry Health people who need it, protected by multi-factor authentication. If a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme requires.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your profile at any time by emailing network@foundry.health. We respond within 30 days.

Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your information, email network@foundry.health and we will investigate and reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au. If you are in the United Kingdom, you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes to this notice

We will update this notice as The Network develops, including before any paid contributions begin, and record the date of the latest version above.
