A professional community and expert network
Clinicians and operators, informing decisions across healthcare.
Foundry Health has been clinician-founded and clinician-led since 2020, drawing on a global bench of senior clinicians, operators and ex-MBB consultants. The Network opens our community to anyone who has treated patients, run services or shaped the field. Members inform the most nuanced questions in policy, strategy and due diligence, build a network of peers, and create practical toolkits for the sector.
Everything is opt-in. You set your capacity, availability and topics, and change them any time.

Why this exists
Decisions about which services are funded, scaled or closed are made every week, by investors, operators and governments. The people who know those services best are not often part of that conversation, and when they are, it is usually for a single hour, with little sense of how their input was used.
Foundry was founded in 2020 to close the gap between independent healthcare experts and generalist consulting firms, as the home of the clinician-consultant. Our teams carry more than 200 years of collective clinical and healthcare leadership experience across the Asia Pacific, the US and the UK. Healthcare is our home ground.
We have always had an informal network influencing the specialised perspectives that we take. The Network is that community built properly. Change in healthcare comes from the people who deliver it, given a standing place in the decisions.

Looking for expertise rather than joining?
The Network supports investors, operators, governments and founders working on questions across healthcare. Members are verified clinicians and operators, briefed on the decision behind each question and engaged as part of the team.
Expert calls, panels and surveys, matched on career history
Working groups and community positions on sector-wide questions
Benchmarks, playbooks and trackers, authored with members
Questions we get asked
Who is behind it?
Foundry Health, a clinician-led specialist healthcare strategy and investment advisory firm, with teams across APAC, the UK and the US and headquarters in Sydney. Trung Ton and Michael Bonning convene the community and host the launch briefing.
Is The Network live now?
Not yet. The community forms first, so that when the platform opens the first clients meet an established group and the first toolkits already have authors.
Is this an expert network or a professional community?
Both. As a professional community, the toolkits, briefings, sessions and working groups are what members get from each other and from Foundry. As an expert network, contributions to client work are paid; the rate is set with the community and published before the first request, with a floor comparable to your own time.
How does this fit with Foundry and Alloy?
Foundry Health brings the questions and confirms who members are. The Network is the community that works them. Alloy is the intelligence platform that records what is known and keeps it current: findings flow to Alloy with consent. Alloy is in internal use at Foundry and opens to subscribers after The Network.
How much time will it take?
As much or as little as you choose. We expect most members to take 1 to 3 requests a month of 30 to 60 minutes. Surveys are 5 to 15 minutes. Toolkit and project work is opt-in.
I am employed full time. Can I take part?
Yes, subject to your employment terms. Conflicts are registered at sign-up so you are never routed a request you should not take.
How is my privacy and my data handled?
- Nothing about you is visible to a client until you accept a specific request
- Clinicians are never named without opting in
- No requests about your own employer or a direct competitor without your opt-in
- Calls recorded only with your consent, at the start of each call
- Data held under the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and applicable local law; CVs visible to the verification team only
- Export or delete your profile at any time
Do contributions carry clinical liability?
Calls and surveys are expert opinion and need no clinical indemnity. Where a request asks for advisory work that does, the platform arranges and pays for the cover, and you are told which kind of request it is before you accept.
Do you scrape LinkedIn?
No. We use the link you give us to verify you and read the CV or LinkedIn PDF you upload. Nothing is pulled without your consent.
Can I leave?
Yes. Delete your profile from the link in your inbox at any time. Outstanding payments are still made.
